You must install them into the hole in the motor and screw them half way in place. Third, you must remove each blade and blade bracket from motor housing assembly. You can set them and screw aside for later. Fourth, You must remove the screw holding the canopy in place. You slide the canopy down and disconnect the wiring. You must remove the ceiling fan from ceiling. Leave the mounting bracket attached to the ceiling.

Fifth, from the ground, you remove each blade from each blade bracket. You install the screw into each blade bracket half way in place. Sixth, from the ground, you remove the down rod from motor housing assembly. Then, you install the screw into hole in the top of motor housing assembly. Seventh, from the ground, you remove the bottom faceplate from motor housing assembly. Then, you set bolts and screw aside for later. Eighth, from the ground, you remove the pull chains. Ninth, paint all parts with white –colored primer after laying them out on a piece of cardboard large enough for all part to lay on. After the white-colored primer is dry, you paint all of the parts.
